Are you going to drop me? Surely there are other duties I could carry on with. Only, I know it's disappointing.

There must be something I could use that would deflect or mask or jigger it, isn't there? I know it has to be undetectable, though. And not make it seem that I'm simply daft. There has to be something, though.

I have a few options that might suit. Something with a dispersive confundus charm should weaken the focus of the legilimens. There are other artefacts that tamp down the rush of emotions that hinder occlumency, though they also have the downside of making one rather less quick on the uptake.

I could advise better if I knew how powerful the legilimens is, and if any interrogative techniques are involved - and, if so, to what extent.

If she's to be allowed an active role here, she'll have to be proof against Procyon. Extremely accomplished. A natural legilimens, it seems, but has honed the ability.

Interaction would be incidental (not interrogation): Procyon does not give himself away even within Dogstar, but I feel certain I've been probed more than once myself, by one trained to look for signs alternatively of commitment or deceit.

Sandoval needs to persuade that she is the pseud she impersonates and that s/he is duly committed to Dogstar's purposes.
