Barty - I can't imagine anything giving him more of a laugh than you declaring yourself his lover in order to pay a visit.
It's stasis; otherwise, the pain would have required further medication which likely would have hampered the curse running its course. As it is, he doesn't look particularly at peace. He doesn't look anything at all, more like some waxen dummy. I try to imagine Hydra enduring this and find that my mind won't quite let me go there.
I shall consider the invite and am certain that, when recovered, Raz will eagerly take you up on it. I'm only relieved that the press hasn't quite keyed to the fact that this all happened right after his birthday.
