Crouch: I've been contacted by St M's Oversight Committee who are questioning our procedures or actions (or something) relative to prisoners transferred to ICD ward at Hampstead--the so called Vale of Health facility--in the most recent term (includes DStar74.AC6). No idea what they're on about. This is the first time we've had any objections from this quarter. Bloody nuisance! Wish you'd have a look at my draft response.

Nordgren. Do not reply as drafted.

Healer Oxley: I'm writing to acknowledge receipt of your summary of the committee's report for the term ending 20 June 1995 and to address your request for a meeting with a representative of my department on questions raised in said document. First, I must take exception to the tone of your letter, stooping as it does to insinuations of malfeasance on our part. Second, I find that my calendar is quite rigidly scheduled and cannot accommodate your request. Auror Trainee Reethi Singh will supply my place at the meeting called for 27 July.

Do not concede their terms, time, or place for meeting. Do not send a trainee to do our business. (Refer them to me.) And. Cut that nonsense about tone. I don't care how affronted you were. Neither do they. Clearly.
