Private Message to Bellatrix Lestrange and Lucius Malfoy

Have just finished meeting with members of St Mungo's Operations Oversight Committee. Two of them: Gregorius Pathe and Frances Oxley.

Registered their concern over circumstances of our transfering Dogstar prisoners to Hampstead incurables facility. Misliked the condition of the miscreants on arrival. Have filed an 'Ethics brief' with some newly established commission of theirs. Have named Truncheon, Brundage, and me as implicated parties, along with MLE generally.

I pointed out that the Irreversible Cruciatus ward was designed to admit exactly such cases. (As it says on the tin.) Asked if they questioned Our Lord's provision for law enforcement. Wouldn't be budged from their claim of authority to 'scrutinise and review' our procedures where there is 'overlap between institutions'.

Agreed that it is time for review of agreements and conduct. Informed them MLE has initiated review of St Mungo's handling of State prisoners, its responsiveness, cooperation, and conduct in carrying out its duties.

Was clear, by the way, that Healer Stint is the instigator, though he's put others out front. Overdue for scrutiny, that one.
