* Op. Restoration proceeding well. Have personnel in the villages seeing to it that curfew observed, peace kept, eyesores repaired or replaced, distractions eliminated, difficult memories altered or eased.
          ** Penderyn, Voire, and O'Clare are proving useful in identifying which of the local watchers have made themselves obnoxious enough to pay dividends when we relieve the locals of their presence.
          ** Need Runge to see the Prophet gives more attention to this
* Op. Perpetual Rest continues. Catterick cleared last night. White Lund and Basildon underway.
* Core Assets: security enhancements implemented as discussed. Now embarking on extended list.
* Travers, Braithewaite, Chambers and Knox report only minor hits as yet (major targets keeping their noses below the parapets so far). Have informants and snipers deployed at primary locations. Grts, Hgsm, St M, perimeter of null zone.
* International on alert.

At first opportunity, need to discuss:

* Aix2
* Portkeys (default broken, abnormalities)

Actually, haven't heard back from Runge. Must be holed up in his office at Bham. Doesn't seem to have caught on that the chain of command has changed.

Barracks at White Lund park and Basildon fully cleared. Rubbish disposed of.

Travers had a lead re. Macnair. Nothing certain yet. May be another cold trail.

Truth?

There are aspects of my former job that I miss a great deal. There's a reason why I was well-known for my hatred of management and paperwork, and noted for my zeal at other things.

This new position comes with a different sort of satisfaction, quite fulfilling in its own way, but most days leave me in a state that is more restless than sated.
